when was the last time you went on vacation or travelled for work and the moment you landed in the airport, all you wanted was WiFi access? Probably not that long ago. Many airports around the world charge for WiFi access, and others, the network is just so slow. Well, put those worries behind you, because “there’s an app for that” and this maps app that has WiFi passwords for all airports all over the world (we’re serious).
We all owe a great deal of gratitude to Anil Polat, the computer security engineer and self proclaimed digital nomad who created that map. Polat’s blog foXnoMad teaches the tips, tricks, and tech you can use to travel smarter–no matter where you go or how you travel. The map, which Polat updates regularly, includes the Wi-Fi passwords and locations of dozens of airports around the world.
Click on an airport on the map and the location of the wireless network reveals its name and password. The map can also be found via Polat’s app WiFox- download on the App Store or get it on Google Play.
